Membership Service Awards honour Canadian Hereford families who have committed 25, 50, 75, or 100 years of service to the Hereford breed and membership to the CHA.
This award is presented to individuals or organizations who exemplify excellence and demonstrated innovation for the Hereford breed. They may or may not be members of the CHA but demonstrate a pioneer spirit where they were willing to take risks and go in a path that wasn’t already there resulting in advancements for the beef industry, specifically the Hereford breed.
This award is presented to an individual who exemplifies excellence and passion for the Hereford breed.
Prior to 2024, the Honour Roll recognized leaders who were still living and the Memorial Scroll honoured those who had passed on. Now, the Canadian Hereford Association Board of Directors annually considers and selects inductees, both living and passed, to the Canadian Hereford Association Honour Roll as nominated from the general membership.
